This Sunday April 27th will be important day in the life of our church as we offer blessings to our 9:30 worship leader and our graduating seniors.

Godspeed and Blessingsto our 9:30 Worship Leader Anthony McPhail

Anthony McPhail has served as the worship leader in the 9:30 Contemporary Service for the past two years. Anthony is an extremely talented musician and has shared that gift with us in many ways. However, his true blessing to us has been his humble spirit, his deep spiritual walk and his willingness to serve wherever needed.

Anthony accepted the job to lead worship at 9:30, but he offered the gift of the call of God upon his life to the church. He has volunteered beyond his official responsibilities and become part of the family here at Tuckston. Anthony and Phyllis Carney started a college age Sunday School class that meets at 11:00 and planned special get-togethers for this group. Anthony volunteers every Sunday evening at the Harbor playing lead guitar for the Youth Band. He has also led services for special occasions.

Anthony leaves us to answer a calling from God to start a new ministry at Martha Bowman United Methodist Church in Macon. He will be part of starting a new Contemporary Service. This is Anthony’s home church which holds a special place in his heart.

We have been greatly blessed to share this time with Anthony. We extend our blessings and prayers as he goes forth in response to God’s call to a new challenge, just as he responded when He called him to Tuckston.

Congratulations to our Graduating Seniors
