The Rosebud on the chancel today celebrates the birth of Benjamin David Worthington on May 21, 2008. He is the son of Jim and Suzanne Worthington.
The Brazil Team is selling biscuits this morning for their mission trip on June 30th – July 1st.
Covered Dish Luncheon today at 12 noon to honor Lester Bonner.
Annual Conference Volunteers - Volunteers are needed to assist with registration of the clergy who will be attending Annual Conference which will be held at the Classic Center. Early registration will be on Monday, June 16 from 5:00 - 7:30 pm, and registration begins at 8:00 on Tuesday, June 17. A few individuals will be needed Wednesday through Friday also. Beach Party: Surfin’ Through The Scriptures - Sunday, June 8-Friday, June 13, 5:30-8:40, Rising PreK – 6th grade. Register today at the table in the narthex.
Continue to be in prayer for VBS. Pray for our directors: Jennifer Abbott, Mary Sledge, and Kim Howard. Pray for our children that they will come and invite other children. We desire for them to experience what it means to Be obedient, Be Kind, Be Forgiving, Be Bold, and Believe. We are accepting donations of the following items: plastic sandwich bags, small bottles of water, plastic table cloths (round and square, blue, green, pink, orange, yellow), brightly colored beach towels, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, beach chairs, life preservers, fishing nets, crab baskets, bathtub boats and fish, coolers, life jackets, baby food jars, plastic frosting containers and coffee scoops.
The following groups will meet at 4:00 on June 8 in preparation for VBS:

*Registration volunteers will meet with Kim Howard in the narthex
*Youth volunteers will meet with Jennifer Abbott in room F115
The Church Office will be closed Monday, May 26th in observance of Memorial Day.
The Children's Ministry of Tuckston UMC invites you and your family to come be a part of some special summer activities.
