The Flowers are placed on the chancel today in honor of Kate and Aubrey Finch’s 50th wedding anniversary by their children and grandchildren.
The Rosebud is placed on the chancel today to celebrate the birth of Garrett Steven Smith on June 22, 2008. He is the son of Kim and Jeremiah Smith and grandson of Gary and Patty Bennett.

Tuckston’s Loaves and Fishes continues to be in need of the following items to help restock our food pantry: peanut butter, crackers, cereals, onion bits, oatmeal, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti noodles, 2 lbs grits, powdered milk, can meats (spam, tuna, canned ham, and potted meat).
Please keep our Tijuana mission team in your prayers. They left this morning and will return July 5th. They are: Katherine Whitfield, Stephen Whitfield, Steve and Laura Ebbert, Ali Ebbert, Travis Ebbert, Angela Brewer, Brooke Brewer, Stephen Sauls, Nicole McGivern, Rebecca Case, Alex Licht, Robert Burgdoff, Jordan Stevens, and Scott Akin.
Please continue to keep our Brazil mission team in your prayers. They left June 22nd and will return Tuesday, July 1st. They are: David and Hilda Fletcher, Pam Allen, Wayne and Mary Brubaker, Michelle Kunce, Chris Martin, Pearl McLean, Deidre Kell, and Lauren Kell.
The Children's Ministry: Back to School Bowling Bash on Monday, August 4th from 10:00 – 12 noon. Meet at Showtime Bowl. Please register by contacting Michele May at 706-353-1311 or michele45@bellsouth.net by Sunday, July 27th. The cost is $3.75 per game/$7.50 to bowl 2 games. Please wear athletic shoes. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The Women's Ministry at Tuckston will begin a Bible Study on Tuesday, August 26th from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. The study will last ten weeks, and be held in the Fellowship Hall. The Bible Study is entitled "Tuesdays with Beth Moore." It is a video series with Beth Moore teaching ten independent topics and a discussion time. This study differs from ones in the past because no study manual is required and the cost is free. A free nursery is also provided. Contact the church office (353-1311) or Julie Cornelius (juliecorn1@bellsouth.net) to sign up by August 25th. Include nursery needs in message. The study will be led by Barbara Cornelius.
