Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved you with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done your will, we have broken your law, we have rebelled against your love, we have not heard the cry of the needy. Forgive us we pray. Free us for joyful obedience, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Children’s Sunday School Teacher Meeting on Sunday, August 10th from 9:00 to 9:30 AM to review our new Sunday school curriculum for 9:30 Sunday school and Club 56. Please contact Michele May if you have any questions.
Today is Promotion Sunday for the Children’s Ministry. Please note the following schedules for 9:30 and 11:00 AM Sunday School.
9:30 Sunday School
9:30-10:00 Children will go to their regular classroom.
10:00-10:30 All classes through 6th grade will meet in the FLC for our program.
10:30-10:45 Teachers will lead their new classes to the classroom for refreshments.
11:00 Sunday School
11:00-11:15 Children will go to their regular classroom
1:15-11:45 Children rising Kindergarten through 6th grade will meet in the FLC for our program.
11:45-12:00 Teachers will lead their new classes to the classroom for refreshments and
dismissal.

Church Wide Baby Shower on Saturday, August 30th at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall to honor Brent and Summer Escoe. This will be a pot luck dinner, so bring some of you favorite dishes. Dessert and beverages will be provided. Brent and Summer are registered at Target, Rattles and Thymes, and Walmart online. “Tuesdays with Beth Moore” Our women’s ministry will begin “Tuesdays with Beth Moore” Bible study on Tuesday, August 26th from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. This is a ten week study and will be held in the Fellowship hall here at Tuckston. The study is free and a nursery is provided. Contact the church office (353-1311) or Julie Cornelius (juliecorn1@bellsouth.net) to sign up. The study will be lead by Barbara Cornelius and the deadline to sign up is August 25th.
Tuckston License Plates are still available for $5.00 each in the Church office.
Please Remember When Making Contributions to the church to use an offering envelope. To ensure accurate contribution credit the offering envelope should include your complete name and amount given to each designated fund.
The Church Office will continue to receive orders for Tuckston magnetic nametags. If you would like to order one, please write you name as you want it to appear on your nametag on the line below and place it along with $9.00 for each tag ordered in an offering envelope.
