Prayer Meetings
Tuckston believes in the power of prayer. God hears our praise and listens to our petitions. God's Word confirms that to us in Matthew 7:7-8.
Regular "Concert of Prayer" gatherings are held to pray for individuals, our congregation, our community, our nation, and our world.
A "Service of Healing Prayer" is also held regularly to pray for those who have been afflicted and see God's power displayed.
The Prayer Task Force is a group that meets weekly in the prayer room to raise up a unified voice in prayer. Call Wayne Brubaker (706-743-5058) for more information.
On Sunday mornings and special occasions a "Prayer Vigil" is held to continually lift up the activities over its time span of a day, weekend, or week.
Individual prayer is very important, but group prayer is, too. God's Word assures us that "where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them." - Matthew 18:19-20. If you need prayer, would like to get involved in any of the prayer groups, or just want more information, please call the church office at 706-353-1311.
