UPDATE: The first Brazil mission group has returned! Everyone had a wonderful time and the trip was really blessed. No one got sick or injured and the group was able to get a lot of work done on the foundation for a new building to house the church's after-school program. Thanks to everyone for their prayers during this trip, our God is truly an awesome God and we were blessed to be able to serve in Brazil. Team members: Lynne Billard; Mary & Wayne Brubaker; Lee & Jane McNeil; Richard Conway; Steve & Susan Cooper; and Steven Spruill.
Gordon and Teca Greathouse, the missionaries in Brazil that Tuckston helps to support, were in charge of the work site coordination. Teca was with the group the entire time it was in Brazil. Click here to view a new video clip about the Greathouses' work. It was created and published by the United Methodist Church.

Tijuana - Also this summer, the Tuckston youth will be taking their 5th trip to Tijuana from June 5 - 19. There are 26 youth going, and 14 of those are spending the second week in a dormitory in Mexico, allowing them to be completely immersed in the culture. |

River of Life - Another mission opportunity this summer is River of Life. Both youth and adults spend three days working together on local mission projects, such as wheelchair ramps, roofing, and painting. Anyone interested in volunteering should contact Steve Cooper or David Dunlap. |
Please remember all these groups in your prayers this summer as they do God’s work here in Athens and around the world.
