MISSIONS TEAM MEETING SUNDAY MAY 19TH AT 8PM IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL
Hinton Mission Experience is one Tuckston Youth has been doing for the past several years. Each year youth enjoy serving the people of Hinton, NC by helping with minor home repair, yard work and other odd jobs around the homes of those less fortunate and elderly. Hinton, NC is a very poor mountain community in Western North Carolina and for the past several years Tuckston Youth has made a huge difference in countless lives. We will continue that tradition this year June 9-14 as 11 youth and adults head back!

Here are a few updates in regards to fundraising and paying for the overall trip cost.
1. The Total Trip Cost will be divided this way.
(1/3 will be paid for by the Youth/Parents)
(1/3 will be paid for by the Youth Mission Budget)
(1/3 will be paid for by the individual youth going on the trip.)
-1/3 of the total trip cost is $112.00
2.Youth Fundraising Letters
-Youth are asked to raise 1/3 of their trip cost, which is $112 on their own. (We believe this will be a great opportunity for youth to learn how to fundraise on their own and also involve others in their mission trip experience.
Here's a couple of ways you can do this:
1. Write and mail out a fundraising letter telling your family and friends what you are doing and how they can help.

2. Mow Grass, Sell Lemonade, Babysit and other odd jobs around the house and/or for your neighbors.
3. Save up by not spending your money on video games, movies, nights out and other things you can go with out.
