Tuckston Internship Application


"... I want to know more about God, how to follow Him, and how to serve Him...." 

If that describes you then you may be interested in our internship. The purpose of the internship is to allow young adults who are feeling called into ministry the chance to grow as a disciple and leader while ministering with in a local church.  

The internship is a paid, year-long program that runs from May 2018 – May 2019. The job is 25 hours per week (Sunday - Thursday) and has a monthly stipend of $500. 

Youth/ Young Adult Interns - Youth/ Young Adult Interns will learn how to serve and love youth and young adults in Athens. Interns will help with youth programs like Fellowship of Christian Athletes, The Harbor (Sunday night youth worship), Wednesday Night Live (community outreaches to low-income neighborhood), and Fuse (community worship services with other churches) among other programs. Interns will also help lead mission trips and organize the Athens Mission Week (Vacation Bible School & River of Life Mission Camp). Interns will also work to disciple college students. Interns will grow in their understanding of Christian theology through weekly Bible studies and assigned book reading. 

Worship Interns - Worship Interns will learn how to serve and love the church through worship. Interns will gain a broad understanding of worship and lead others in both traditional and non-traditional settings. Interns will learn to develop and organize worship settings. They will learn how to lead worship volunteers ranging from musicians, audio/ video technician, ushers, hospitality teams, etc. Interns will also grow in their understanding of Christian theology through weekly Bible studies and assigned book reading.
